Privacy Policy.

Last updated: 27 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how LTLS ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use the Settle website (the "Site"). We've tried to keep it plain. If anything is unclear, email info@cloudwise.ltd.

The short version

The unscrambler itself runs entirely in your browser. The letters you type are processed on your own device and are never transmitted to us or stored on a server. We don't ask you to create an account, and we don't sell personal information. The main data activity on this Site comes from third-party services like analytics and advertising, described below.

Information we collect

Advertising and Google

We may display advertising served by third-party vendors, including Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

If you are in the UK or EEA, advertising and non-essential cookies are only set after you have given consent through a consent message managed by Google's consent management tool, shown when you first visit the Site. You can change your choice at any time using the consent options provided through that message, or by managing cookies in your browser settings. Google and its certified partners process consent in line with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework.

Analytics

We may use analytics services (such as Google Analytics) to understand how the Site is used in aggregate. These services use cookies and similar technologies to collect usage data. This helps us see which features are useful and where the Site can be improved.

Legal basis for processing

Under UK data protection law, we rely on: your consent for non-essential cookies and advertising; our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site; and, where applicable, compliance with legal obligations.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email info@cloudwise.ltd. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Data retention

We keep emails you send us only as long as needed to handle your enquiry. Technical and analytics data is retained for limited periods by the relevant service providers in line with their own policies.

Children

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
